We deployed it. We are still here.

After we deploy a platform or build a custom system, we stay. The retainer is how. Senior operators on call for ongoing maintenance, expansion, training, and the work that keeps systems running cleanly. No tickets. No SLA theater. Just operators.

You are dealing with

A platform deployment that went live but now needs ongoing care. A custom system that needs maintenance, but you do not want to hire an in-house team to maintain it yet. Workflows that need ongoing tuning as the business changes. A "transformation initiative" that finished, but the actual ongoing work did not get planned. An internal team that needs an expert to call when something breaks or needs to evolve.

You also know the typical alternatives are bad. Big consulting firms charge twenty times your seat license to maintain a system they already deployed. Boutique freelancers solve the immediate problem but disappear when you need them most. Managed services providers run ticket queues and SLAs that have nothing to do with the work that actually matters.

What we do

We hold senior-operator capacity on reserve for your business.

Specific hours per week or per month. The same senior person who deployed the system stays available to you for ongoing operations.

The format is built for trust, not for billing efficiency. Direct Slack or email access. No ticket portal. No "create a ticket and we will respond in 48 hours" theater. You message the operator, they respond like the colleague they are. When something needs fixing, they fix it. When something needs roadmap work, they propose it. When something needs your decision, they tell you what they would do.

What is included

Reserved senior-operator capacity (specific hours per week or month). Direct messaging access. Quarterly review of what is working and what is not. First call for issues, escalation, and questions about the systems we run for you. Implementation of small changes and expansions without re-engaging on a new SOW. Documentation maintenance. Roadmap planning for ongoing platform evolution.

What is not included
  • Major new builds. Those become separate engagements with their own scope and fee.
  • Vendor management for unrelated tools. We are operators for the systems we deployed or that you scope us into, not a general help desk.
  • Unlimited capacity. The retainer is reserved hours, not all-you-can-eat. If you need more, you bump tiers.
How we structure it

Three tiers. Fixed monthly fee.

Tier 1

Eight hours per week reserved.

Best for

A single platform plus light integration. Small businesses or single-function deployments.

Tier 2

Sixteen hours per week reserved.

Best for

Multi-platform operations or active expansion work. Mid-size companies running on multiple platforms.

Tier 3

Twenty-four or more hours per week reserved.

Best for

Complex multi-system operations or fractional engineering capacity. Growth-stage companies that need a real ongoing partner.

Each tier is a fixed monthly fee. Capacity flexes with quarterly review. No surprise overage billing.

Why this model

Software is never "done." A platform that works great at launch starts to drift after six months. New employees join and need training. Workflows shift. Vendor APIs change. Reports break. Edge cases surface that nobody thought to scope at the beginning.

Senior operators are expensive to keep on retainer for one company exclusively. But multiple companies pooling specific senior-operator capacity is efficient for everyone. You get senior expertise on demand. We get the operating depth that comes from running similar systems across many companies. Both sides win.

Hiring full-time for the ongoing work does not make sense until you are large enough to keep a senior operator busy. Below that threshold, a fractional retainer beats both freelancers and big-firm managed services.

Make ongoing operations someone else's problem.

Tell us what you have running, what is at stake, and where the gaps are. We will propose a tier that fits.
